Hard Drive Backup

Hard Drive Backup

A Hard Drive Backup is a file containing a complete digital copy of all the information on a computer hard drive. Using backup software, you create a digital file which has all the information that was on the original disk at the time when you created the backup.

This digital file can be used to access the information on your hard drive in the event of some sort of critical file, such as a hard drive crash or a natural disaster. For this reason, you should routinely make a backup of your hard drive, so that you have access to the latest data stored on your computer, and that backup should be stored in a safe place.

In order to perform a complete backup of your hard drive, you should use software designed to duplicate all of the information on your PC. Simply copying and pasting the information to a new location will not save your system information, applications and settings. You will need all of those things to access your data files in the event of a disaster. You should also make sure that the software you use will allow you to schedule regular backups.

StorageCraft ShadowProtect is disaster recovery software that allows you to safely backup your computer hard drive. ShadowProtect provides Real-Time Recovery of your systems and data in the event of a catastrophic failure.
